Torven

Your machines are on your customers' sites. Their monitoring should be on yours.

Torven turns the equipment you build into a monitored service, under your brand: a your-brand gateway wired to the PLC, an operator portal in your colours, and a platform run for you.

Developed with a French manufacturer of gas equipment

Your data stays yours — security and reversibility

Full white-label — from the box to the portal, your customers see your brand, not ours

Shipping the machine is no longer enough

Support calls with no diagnosis

Your technicians travel out to confirm what a remote alarm could have qualified from the office. Every wasted call-out costs a day and a margin.

Customers operating blind

Your equipment runs on sites operated by people who are not automation engineers. An undetected stoppage means lost production — and it's your brand that takes the hit.

A maintenance contract under pressure

Without data, maintenance stays reactive. Monitoring turns the contract into a preventive service — better valued and harder to cancel.

A complete platform, under your brand

The gateway

A pre-configured industrial box, wired to the PLC or to existing signals (Modbus, 4-20 mA, dry contacts). 4G or Ethernet connectivity, with a buffer that holds data through an outage. One gateway covers a whole installation — and it ships under your brand: front plate, labelling and documentation in your colours.

The platform

Historised telemetry, an alarm engine, dashboards per installation and per fleet, regulatory exports. Run for you: no server to manage, no software team to hire.

The white-label portal

Your logo, your domain, your colours. Two access levels: you see your whole fleet, each end customer sees their own installations. Monitoring becomes a product you sell.

Tailored to your hardware

Our solution adapts to your equipment, every time

No two machines report the same data. Before any rollout, an adaptation phase pinpoints exactly what to read from YOUR hardware and what to show your teams — with nothing to redevelop on your machine.

Signals from your hardware

  • 4-20 mA pressure, level
  • Modbus flow, status
  • DI/DO run / fault
  • Counter hours, cycles

  1. 1

    Identifying the data to collect

We analyse your equipment — PLC, sensors, meters, 4-20 mA signals, dry contacts, Modbus registers — and map the useful measurement points: run/stop, pressures, flows, temperatures, levels, faults, hour counters.

  2. 2

    Defining the information to display

Together we choose what reaches the portal and how it's shown: real-time indicators, historical curves, thresholds and alarms, reports — in the language of your field and your operators.

  3. 3

    Configuration tailored to your equipment

The gateway is set up to read exactly this data from your hardware. Done once per equipment model, the adaptation is then reused: every machine of the same type is recognised and monitored automatically.

The result: monitoring tailored to your hardware — not a generic dashboard bolted onto your machines.

A concrete example, sector by sector

The same gateway, tailored to each field. Pick a sector: here's what it reads from the hardware and what it shows your teams.

  • Digester pressure — 4-20 mA Real-time pressure + curve

    Typical alarm : Digester overpressure

  • Biogas flow — Modbus Instant flow + daily total

Typical alarm : No flow while producing

  • Flare fault — dry contact Flare status

    Typical alarm : Flare fault

  • Digester temperature — 4-20 mA Temperature + history

Typical alarm : Outside methanogenic range

  • Boiler pressure — 4-20 mA Real-time pressure + curve

Typical alarm : Low or high pressure

  • Flow / return temperatures — Modbus Temperature difference (ΔT)

    Typical alarm : Abnormal ΔT

  • Burner fault — dry contact Burner status

    Typical alarm : Burner lockout

  • Hour counter — pulses Running hours

Typical alarm : Maintenance threshold reached

  • Tank level — 4-20 mA Level + trend

Typical alarm : Low or high level

  • Pump flow — Modbus Flow + treated volume

Typical alarm : Flow out of range

  • Pump fault — dry contact Pump status

    Typical alarm : Pump fault

  • Turbidity — 4-20 mA Reading + history

Typical alarm : Quality threshold exceeded

  • Enclosure temperature — 4-20 mA Real-time temperature + curve

    Typical alarm : Temperature drift

  • HP / LP pressure — Modbus Refrigeration circuit pressures

Typical alarm : HP pressure too high

  • Compressor fault — dry contact Compressor status

    Typical alarm : Compressor fault

  • Defrost cycles — pulses Defrosts + duration

Typical alarm : Abnormally long defrost

  • Cycle temperature — 4-20 mA Temperature + cycle curve

Typical alarm : Thermal profile not reached

  • Autoclave pressure — Modbus Cycle pressure

Typical alarm : Pressure out of spec

  • Cycle fault — dry contact Cycle status

    Typical alarm : Cycle interrupted

  • Cycle counter — pulses Completed cycles

Typical alarm : Maintenance threshold reached

These mappings are defined with you during the adaptation phase, then replayed automatically on every machine of the same type.

Live in four steps

  1. 1

    Scoping

we map the signals of your typical equipment

  2. 2

    Wiring

the gateway connects to what's already there, with no redesign of your machine

  3. 3

    Branding

portal in your brand, alarms and reports tailored to your field

  4. 4

    Rollout

your installations come online as they are commissioned; your teams are trained

Built for equipment manufacturers

If your equipment is installed on third-party sites and deserves better than radio silence, Torven is built for your fleet.

  • Anaerobic digestion & biogas
  • Boilers & boiler rooms
  • Water treatment
  • Food processing & sterilisation
  • Industrial refrigeration
  • Distributed energy

Another field? Let's talk — the platform is agnostic to the type of equipment.

Your data, your brand, under control

  • Your operational data stays yours — contractual reversibility, export at any time

  • End-to-end encryption, from the gateway to the portal

  • Strict per-customer isolation — each operator only ever sees their own installations

Frequently asked questions

Our machines have no recent electronics — is that a problem?

No. The gateway also reads analog signals (4-20 mA) and dry contacts: even an older machine reports the essentials — run/stop, faults, counters.

Do we need to modify our equipment?

No. The gateway connects to the existing PLC or terminal block. No redesign of your machine is required.

Who owns the data?

You do. Operational data belongs to the manufacturer; reversibility is contractual.

Will our customers see your brand?

No, nowhere. Both the gateway box and the portal carry your brand: box front and labelling, documentation, portal domain and colours. Your customers buy your service.

How is the service billed?

An initial setup, then a subscription per connected installation. The detail is worked out with you, based on your fleet.

How is my data protected?

End-to-end encryption, strict per-customer isolation and contractual reversibility: your data stays yours and is exportable at any time.
